Jack de Jeramo of Jack's Lawn and Landscaping spoke to the council about his long history maintaining city properties. Council members noted the city’s purchasing policy allows a local preference. The council then voted to award the contract to Laflamme Bush Hogging. One council member stated a conflict and abstained from that particular vote.
