The Fond du Lac City Council closed the public hearing on the 2026 transit budget on Oct. 22, 2025, after no members of the public spoke, and used the opportunity to introduce Nicole Dreher as the city's new transit manager.
During the hearing, Paul (staff) introduced Nicole Dreher, noting she joined the city after nearly a decade in municipal roles and had served as a senior accountant before her promotion to transit manager. Dreher, who said she was in the early weeks of the new role, told the council she was excited to get started.
Council members welcomed Dreher and staff said members may contact her with transit-related questions. No formal council action was taken during the transit budget public hearing; the council closed the hearing and continued budget deliberations through the normal process.
The introduction was presented as informational and did not alter the transit budget at the Oct. 22 hearing.
