The Coconino County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved on Oct. 14 a combined zoning and preliminary-plat package for McLean Meadows, an Arcana-branded resort plus workforce housing development north of the junction of State Route 64 and U.S. 180 in the Valley area.
The action approves an ordinance changing two parcels from General (G, 10-acre minimum) to Resort Commercial (RC) for an 82.25-acre parcel and to Manufactured Home Park (MHP) for a 40.04-acre parcel, and it approves a preliminary plat for a roughly 151-lot manufactured-home subdivision. The applicants described the project as a two-part proposal: a low-impact resort with roughly 150 detached commercial lodging units and shared amenities, and a meet-the-market workforce subdivision with lots intended for ownership or lease, plus donated lots for Habitat for Humanity.
