The Finance and Audit Committee voted to place a one‑year contract renewal with CorVel for workers' compensation claims administration on the Toll Highway Authority's full board agenda and approved committee minutes from its March 20, 2025 meeting.
Chief Financial Officer Kathy presented finance item number 1 as a one‑year renewal with CorVel to continue providing workers' compensation claims administration and medical case‑management services. Kathy said the renewal includes a 3% increase in claims‑administration fees, which would total $104,905 for the year, plus $30,095 for bill‑review services, for a board authorization not to exceed $135,000 for one year.
Committee members had no substantive questions recorded on the contract renewal. Chair Perinar called for a motion to approve placement of finance item number 1 on the full board agenda. The motion was moved and seconded and approved by voice vote; the chair recorded the motion as passing.
The committee also approved the minutes of the Finance and Audit Committee meeting held March 20, 2025. That motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
Following the votes, the committee had no unfinished or new business and unanimously approved a motion to adjourn.
The contract itself will appear on the full board agenda for final consideration; this committee action only recommended placement to the board and did not approve the contract award.
