TAVA construction continues; America’s Mountain Festival preparations underway in Woodland Station

Board members heard an update on construction and festival preparations at the TAVA and Woodland Station sites.
A board member reported the east wall of the TAVA building is finished and that the next construction steps are the elevator tower and staircase, followed by base plumbing work planned for April. "We're moving along just a little bit slower, but we are proceeding as planned," the presenter said.
Board members also discussed America’s Mountain Festival (AMF), scheduled for July 5. Staff said grading permits for the festival site have been completed and that Derek submitted event permit paperwork to the city; some required meetings with law enforcement and other departments remained in process. "I believe so. We've got the grading permit done... I don't think they've completed all the meetings they have to do with law enforcement and those items here," a board member said, describing the status of event permitting.
Board members noted the festival appears to be moving forward operationally — a website, handouts and ticket sales were cited — and that earthwork would be visible in the Woodland Station area. The board and staff agreed to continue coordinating on permitting and logistics.
