Elbert County commissioners review options to lower and simplify building permit fees
Summary
At an April 1, 2025 work session, Elbert County commissioners and staff discussed updating valuation tables, applying a 25% modifier for common accessory structures, revising fixed per-square-foot rates, clarifying "shell" definitions, and reviewing contractor-license and consumer use-tax practices; no formal vote was taken.
