Department of Public Health representative Dr. Katz told the board the city won a three‑year state grant of $73,000,000 to support a multi‑year effort and that the initial implementation budget approved by the Health Commission and included in the mayor—s submission totaled about $23.1 million for the first year. "We received $73,000,000 for 3 years," Dr. Katz said during his presentation.
