The Pottsgrove School District Board of School Directors approved routine minutes, payments and personnel actions and signed off on several program agreements and policies at its April 8 meeting.
The board voted to approve the minutes of the March 11 and March 25 meetings and ratified the payment of invoices for March 2025 totaling $4,873,817. The board also approved granting of tenure for the item listed as 9.1 and a package of personnel items (items 9.2–9.7) covering leaves of absence, support staff appointments and changes in assignment, resignations, supplemental staff and evening academy substitute staffing.
In business items the board approved the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center budget (agenda item 10.1) and a Pre-K Counts partnership agreement (10.2). The board accepted a donation of wrestling mats from the Pottsgrove Youth Wrestling Association (10.3). The board approved a confidential student settlement (10.4), granted expulsion waivers listed as items 11.1–11.4, and approved a group of educational services and conference attendance items (11.5–11.9), which include a services agreement with Access Learning Academy and attendance at multiple conferences tied to early childhood and instructional initiatives.
Policy work included approval of policies listed on the agenda (identified in board material as 3-35, 4-305 and 5-35) and movement of other policies to required review steps. The board also approved committee minutes (Operations & Finance; Curriculum, Instruction & Technology; Athletics & Co-Curricular and Community Relations) as presented.
All motions described above were moved and seconded on the record; each vote was announced as "Aye" and the motions passed as reflected in the meeting minutes.
