- OHV destination feasibility study — Accepted the low bid from Roger Brooks / Destination Development for an OHV park and training feasibility study. Contract value discussed at about $90,000; the commission approved the bid award and directed staff to return with the final contract for the next meeting. Outcome: approved unanimously.
- Authorization for OHP grant applications (Class D/OHV trails) — Authorized the Economic Development Director to pursue OHP/OHV grant opportunities (trail improvements, signage, vault toilets and related safety measures) and to submit grant applications on behalf of Kane County. Outcome: approved unanimously.
- Resolution R2025-11 (America 250 Utah) — Adopted a resolution recognizing and approving a local America250/Utah250 community committee for Kane County; the commission authorized establishment of a county committee and acceptance of state partnership funds per the program. Outcome: approved unanimously.
- Ordinance 2025‑05 (Amended plat / easement vacation — Galliard Hill Gas / Timber Trail) — Approved an ordinance amending and vacating a minor subdivision plat and vacating two 12‑foot public utility easements as presented. Outcome: approved unanimously.
- Ordinance O2025‑07 (Residential property tax exemption late application period) — Adopted an ordinance amending the county ordinance to align with state changes that set the late‑application deadline at the close of the Board of Equalization filing period (September 15). The ordinance removes the county's prior extended late‑filing authority and the $50 late fee previously applied in certain cases. Outcome: approved unanimously.
- Resolution R2025‑10 (Notice of intent to include BigWater and Alton in the County Human Resources Special Service District) — Adopted a resolution beginning the statutory protest/notice period to include the towns of BigWater and Alton in the county's Human Resources Special Service District (hospital/EMS SSD). The commission set the public hearing for May 22, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.; staff was directed to correct the district name in the resolution and to publish the required notice. Outcome: approved unanimously (motion included changes and a hearing date).
