Planning Commission approves consent agenda unanimously; elects new officers

Officer elections
Commissioners then conducted elections for commission officers. A motion to appoint Commissioner Azar as chair, Commissioner Woods as vice chair, Commissioner Maxwell as secretary and Commissioner Haney as parliamentarian was moved on the floor and seconded by Commissioner Skidmore. The commission voted unanimously to confirm the slate. The motion was announced as passing without objection.
Meeting procedure notes
Commissioners and staff discussed working group assignments and upcoming calendar items. The commission did not take final action on the University Neighborhood Overlay briefing (item 11); staff had presented the UNO draft and the commission scheduled that item for a public hearing and formal action at its next meeting.
