The membership and sponsorship vote came after a presentation from Lynn Seaton of Seaton Photography, who asked the MDD to take a leadership role in recruiting, retaining and promoting local businesses. “We already have 63 paid members in just that amount of time,” Seaton said, describing the ABA as a private, membership-based organization that aims to act like a local chamber of commerce.
