San Antonio council hears update on more than 2,000 pending state bills, flags ESD, cyber command and housing measures

Basurto said one of the bills the city is monitoring would establish a Texas Cyber Command at the University of Texas at San Antonio and create a statewide center for cyber threat intelligence and incident response; funding and structure for that proposal remain under negotiation at the Capitol. She told council members that the city has provided written and in-person testimony to committees on several items.
