Rathdrum City Council approved the Meyer Meadows short plat that subdivides an annexed parcel immediately west of the City Hall property into four lots: a larger residential portion (Block 1, Lot 4) composed of R-1 and R-2S zoning, and three commercial remainder lots on Lancaster frontage.
Staff told council the short plat met the subdivision chapter requirements and the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval following its public meeting. Council and staff compared the sizes of the commercial frontage lots to the lots adjacent to the City Hall property and discussed boundary alignment; staff reported the three commercial lots are roughly comparable in acreage to nearby city parcels.
A motion to approve the Meyer Meadows short plat carried after a second and vote by council. No public testimony was recorded during the council discussion.
