Burke said he collected four 39‑gallon bags of stems last fall and that the problem now extends into winter and spring. He said other neighbors have the same issue and that he had informed the parts department that others had called about the problem.
Burke requested the city consider addressing the issue; staff acknowledged the comment during the public comment period but did not commit to a specific remedy at the meeting.
