Council members said they would follow up. One council member said they would check on insurance and bond requirements and asked staff to contact DWR and invite a representative to speak at a future meeting so the council can explore local options and any needed permits, liability protections or policies. The council encouraged staff to obtain examples of programs other municipalities have used and to schedule DWR for a future meeting.
