South Carolina American Revolution Trust to base research center at Robert Mills Courthouse; council hears plans

The presenters said SCART recently hosted archaeologists, veterans and volunteers who recovered artifacts in local digs and that the organization expects to support tourism, research and educational programming tied to the 250th anniversary of the Revolution in 2026.
Council members thanked the presenters, noted the potential tourism and education benefits, and asked staff to assist as SCART establishes its presence in the courthouse. No vote was required.
