The county has offered to do a single chip seal plus flush (chip and fog seal) for Trenton at a county price of about $100,000 for the full project; the town's remaining COG funds for that chip‑seal project total $46,795.85. Council voted to authorize town staff to approach the county to see if the county will perform half the project this year (staff proposed a contribution in the $51,000 range to match county pricing and the town's available funds).
