She told commissioners the local group supports survivors and people who carry genetic risks and said there are about "40 drivers" in Beaver County who are part of the 412 Thrive community and "800 plus" in the broader community she referenced.
The board adopted the proclamation by voice vote after a motion and second; the chair recorded "Aye. Motion carried." Several commissioners then offered praise for the group's work and for families affected by breast cancer.
The proclamation text recognized 412 Thrive's funding of patient resources and wellness events intended to support life during and after diagnosis. No budgetary commitments or county funding were announced during the meeting.
