Marysville council honors fallen officer Osman Redarte; officials describe procession and community turnout

He also recounted a stopped train whose crew saluted, which Branscomb said was among the notable moments.
Several council members expressed condolences and thanked first responders and community members for their support. The tributes were delivered during the council comments portion of the meeting and did not result in formal council action.
