Jolley said House Bill 502 included $2.5 million “for 126 between Bangerter and 134 South” and roughly $2,750,000 to the Utah Department of Transportation “to take over jurisdiction of 126 South.” He said UDOT had previously told the city it needed to come up with $4 million, and that the new appropriation should reduce or eliminate that local funding requirement.
