The plan calls for two fenced dog‑park areas totaling about 2.9 acres — roughly 1.3 acres for small dogs and 1.6 acres for larger dogs — connected by pedestrian circulation and a half‑mile perimeter trail that will link to existing multi‑use paths. Jennifer Budge, Parks and Recreation Director, told the commission the city will not maintain the park; a homeowners association will assume ongoing maintenance.
