Committee backs renaming McCarty Park diamond for former Marshall coach David Christiansen

Supervisor Martin moved approval and the item was recommended for adoption; a roll call recorded the motion as passing 6 ayes, 0 nos. Supervisor Coggs Jones asked whether the family had been contacted; Tarantino said staff had not yet reached the family and would coordinate outreach with the local supervisor prior to installing any physical signage.
