Susanna Knox applied as the public defender office designee. David Denninger, an assistant district attorney, spoke in support of Knox, saying he had worked with her “on a number of cases” and calling her “very fiercely competent.” The transcript indicates Knox has handled juvenile public defense work recently and that she would be considered to fill a seat designated for the public defender.
