The Weston County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 2025-7, an amendment to the 2024–25 county budget that transfers modest sums between line items to cover unanticipated costs.
The resolution, read into the record by staff, moves $5,140.49 from General Finance Administration into a district court juror/witness line, increases other district court line items (amounts read aloud during the meeting), and moves $850 to an airport repair-and-maintenance line in response to unanticipated hangar-door repairs. The staff summary and the reading included precise line-item account numbers as recorded in the packet.
A commissioner moved to approve the board signatures on Resolution 2025-7 after staff summarized the airport and district court repairs. The board approved the signatures on the resolution without further amendment; staff said the changes will appear on the county website.
The board clarified that some of the increases resulted from unforeseen repairs and that the document will be posted online for public review.
