Staff said the remodel is part of a broader facilities master plan and indicated the authority is compiling a schedule and maintenance plan for building assets. A staff comment during the meeting referenced facility spending and a figure that was articulated as "a hundred and 91,000," which staff said would be part of the facilities plan; that number was given in discussion and should be verified in the facilities budget documentation.
The committee's selection of Whisper concludes the design-choice portion of the project and authorizes staff to proceed with procurement and construction planning consistent with that theme; staff said they will present the overall facilities master plan to the committee at the next meeting in April.
