Frank Frasier, a Tulsa-based attorney who said his family has practiced law in the city for multiple generations, spoke to the UED committee as the nominee to replace Amanda Zuniga on the Ethics Advisory Committee (term through Dec. 1, 2027). The committee chair noted Frasier’s confirmation will be considered by the full Tulsa City Council on April 30 at 5 p.m.
Frasier outlined his legal background, saying he has practiced in Tulsa for 27 years and previously provided ethical advisory opinions to elected officials in the U.S. House, U.S. Senate and the White House. "It's something I've done before ... I can devote attention to both my business and helping this city that I love," Frasier said.
Councilors in the meeting offered personal endorsements: one councilor noted a long acquaintance dating to elementary school and another said Frasier's experience made him well suited for the advisory role. As with other committee appointments heard that day, the UED meeting did not record a committee-level confirmation vote; the chair said Frasier’s nomination will proceed to the April 30 City Council confirmation meeting.
