Livingston Commission approves annexation of 38 Love's Lane after extended public comment

The Livingston City Commission voted to annex a privately owned parcel at 38 Love's Lane, approving Resolution 5159 and authorizing the chair to sign.

Supporters of the annexation said bringing the property into city limits allows municipal review and connection to city utilities; opponents told commissioners the change conflicts with the city's adopted growth policy and raises traffic and emergency-access concerns for nearby five-acre tracts.
