American Legion Post 16 seeks permanent lease, sign and VSO office at county community center

Rogers presented a replica of the post’s charter and a certificate of appreciation and said the post intends to use the community-center location to serve veterans and families for holidays, camaraderie and programs under the American Legion pillars.
Both speakers asked the board to consider a long-term arrangement and expressed appreciation for current access to county facilities.
