The board acted on a set of largely noncontroversial items that staff described as routine, passing most measures by the "same house, same call" procedure. Several items were final-pass ordinances; others were approved on first reading and will return for a second reading at a future meeting.
Among measures adopted were: final passage of an amendment to the building code revising the fee schedules and affirming the Planning Department's CEQA determination; ordinances to allow accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in specified supervisor districts and to require monitoring of ADU use; amendments to the planning code addressing inclusionary affordable housing and group housing projects (first reading, as amended); an administrative-code amendment requiring sheriff and police departments to collect and report data on detentions and traffic stops (first reading, later amended during the same…
