Planning staff: PG&E delays have stalled one project; Yanks Air Museum plans pending, new restaurant permit issued

“...they're still having delays with PG and E. Therefore, since they still don't have power and service, they have not created the the parking lot,” the staff member reported during the projects update.
Staff said the developer intends to continue with construction despite the delay, but the undergrounding of electrical utilities has not yet been completed. The staff member said a message was left for the Yanks Air Museum and the city is waiting for an updated plan submittal.
During the same segment staff also noted that on that day a restaurant operator — identified in the meeting as California Gourmet — pulled a permit. The transcript records the exchange with staff clarifying the business name and noting the permit pull as recent.
Commissioners did not take formal action on these project updates at the meeting. Staff said the first general plan workshop, on land use, is scheduled for Sept. 17 and will focus primarily on introducing land use and zoning designations.
