The St. Paul City Council closed a public hearing and approved a resolution ratifying the special assessment for sanitary-sewer replacement within the street right-of-way associated with the Cleveland Avenue Street Reconstruction Project.
No members of the public spoke at the hearing. Councilmember Provodzinski moved to close the hearing and approve the resolution; the motion carried on voice vote and the council adopted the assessment resolution. Staff indicated the hearing was a routine step to confirm the assessment and move the reconstruction project forward.
The resolution ratifies the assessment for sewer work performed in the public right-of-way from the public sewer to the private property line and authorizes the assessments office to finalize the charged amounts on property tax rolls per standard procedure.
