Burns Harbor engineering staff: town paving project preconstruction meeting set for April 28

Engineering staff reported that a town‑wide paving project is scheduled to begin in May and that a preconstruction meeting for the project is set for April 28 in Burns Harbor.

Janette, identified in the meeting as engineering staff, said: “the paving project is going to start supposedly at the May. We've got a pre construction meeting set up for April 28, here at the town. So, I'll find out their exact schedule then.” She noted the project would affect the town generally but said it did not impact the sanitary territory covered earlier in the agenda.

Staff said they would provide a detailed schedule after the preconstruction meeting and asked attendees to note that the paving work will affect town streets during the contractor’s schedule.
