Board deletes student drug-testing policy after review

Staff clarified that disciplinary responses remain available under the district's discipline and drug-and-alcohol policies, but the district would no longer conduct random drug testing for student athletes or student drivers.
The motion to delete the policy passed by voice vote; the board recorded the result as "Aye" with no opposed members noted.
