Molly Bowers, assistant policy and research analyst for the commission, said meetings will be held in person where possible; House members may appear remotely by permission of the Speaker of the House but remote appearances do not count toward quorum or voting. Work groups are limited to roughly two hours per meeting, she said.
The first work‑group meetings were scheduled for May 22, with the Affordable Housing Solutions group meeting at 10 a.m. and the Neighborhood Transitions group at 1 p.m. Full commission meetings were listed on the commission website for 10 a.m. in Senate Room C on July 15 and Oct. 7, and a final meeting in December (date to be posted). Bowers said the work plan and meeting schedule will be posted to the commission website after the session.
No formal amendment or vote on the work plan was recorded in the meeting transcript; the staff presentation set out topics, chairs and logistical rules for the interim.
