Commission approves 28 project‑based vouchers for Hunters Point development

Sabrina Barker, a representative of Jonathan Rose Companies, called in to thank the commission for its support and said the developer had received a TCU (temporary certificate of occupancy) for the first building at Block 54 and welcomed the inclusion of the project‑based vouchers.
The commission moved and seconded the consent agenda (individual movers were not named on the public record). During roll call the four commissioners recorded on the roll call voted aye: Commissioner Mary Anne Pikes, Commissioner Luana Kim, Commissioner Landau, and President Joaquin Torres. The consent motion carried unanimously.
The resolution authorizes the CEO to execute the HAP contract for the specified developments and counts; the contract and specific program documents will be executed by the agency and the developer outside the meeting.
