Lancaster County Council approved a conditional-use application April 8 to allow Cogito Academy, a K–8 charter school operated by True North K–12, to locate on approximately 22 acres on Shiloh Unity Road.
Planning staff (Miss Williams) presented the request, noting the parcel is designated in the future land-use map as municipal growth area and that the applicant has addressed Technical Review Committee comments, including buffer requirements and connectivity. Miss Williams said the site plan shows trails in lieu of road connections where connectivity would link to undeveloped parcels and that the project meets Unified Development Ordinance requirements.
