Scott (staff member) presented plans notifying the committee of a proposed Tractor Supply store in the Kohls commercial area. He said the project is private (no public improvements were proposed) and that the site civil review should be wrapped up in about a month. Scott said the developers schedule last reported to staff aimed for a July ground-breaking and an opening by October.
"It's kind of been people talk about it, but there's no public improvements. It's all on the private, but I wanted to kinda go over the plans with you and kinda show you what they look like and where it's happening," Scott said. He indicated the site will share existing parking with adjacent businesses and that the state Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is reviewing the plans.
The committee received the notification as informational; no committee action or vote was required.
