Montgomery County committees forward grants, staffing changes and contracts to full legislature

On Tuesday, March 18, committees of the Montgomery County Legislature met and forwarded a series of resolutions, grant acceptances, staffing reorganizations and service contracts to the full legislature for final consideration. Meetings began at about 6:00 p.m. and concluded about 6:52 p.m.

The items moved by committee included budget amendments to accept state and federal grants, authorization for the county executive to sign contracts for building and road maintenance, workforce and staffing adjustments in the Department of Public Works, and several public-safety grant acceptances and program appropriations.
