Committee updates resource list, membership and timeline for Castle Valley mitigation plan

Members also requested spelling and naming corrections in the draft: Daystar was noted as Castle Valley Academy (also referenced as Chapel Valley Academy in discussion) and several personnel changes for regional partners were raised; staff said they would confirm current contacts, including a replacement for a previously listed contact (Mark Stallings was referenced) and add Emery Telecommunications and Rocky Mountain Power to the resources list.
The committee discussed plan logistics. Staff reiterated that the update must include a plan-update element that documents completed mitigation actions, actions carried forward and actions removed, and that the draft will go to a public hearing before final submission. Members asked staff to circulate the revised draft for review in advance of the next meeting and to compile the list of resource contacts in an appendix to allow future edits.
Next steps: staff will update the resource and contacts lists, confirm current committee membership for the draft, and circulate the revised packet before the committee's April meeting. Committee members also proposed asking the water committee to review drought and water-contamination sections separately.
