Town announces $166,650 EECBG award for Cooperative Cultural Center energy upgrades

Town staff announced at the Buffetown Council work session on April 15 that the town has been awarded $166,650 through an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) to support energy upgrades at the Cooperative Cultural Center (CCC).
Leah, a town staff member, told the council: "We were originally awarded when we requested $166,650 and they have actually given us the entire amount we requested." She said the award will fund lighting, insulation and HVAC work at the CCC.
