Dave Martineau, planning staff, told council it is time to review planning fees based on the consumer price index for wage-grade earners and that the office will publish an adjusted fee schedule after April CPI figures are finalized. He said the fee schedule and a staff memo will be scheduled for council consideration on June 11.
Martineau said staff is proposing one new fee: a planning rereview fee of $50 per revision, to recover staff time when applicants submit corrections or change plans during review. The new fee would apply when plans that are already under review require additional review because of revisions or corrections.
No formal vote was taken at the meeting; staff said the April CPI data will be used to calculate the adjustment and a formal council action is planned for the June meeting.
