The combined group is meeting Monday evenings via Google Meet. - The economic equity working group said it will focus on cost-of-living affordability issues (housing, energy, recreation costs) and intends to coordinate with housing staff and social services hubs for subject-matter input. - The justice working group has a sponsor but limited activity; the sponsor said it will take additional time to schedule speakers and assemble resources. - The LGBTQ+ working group is forming and plans public informational meetings and outreach events in the coming weeks.
Task force members discussed timing for a report to the county council. Members indicated the council presentation is tentatively expected in May or June, and some asked staff to coordinate task force attendance at upcoming council agenda and budget hearings.
