Marion County reports rapid expansion of waterline program; in-house crew adds miles

"So from beginning of the program up until last... we were able to make water available to about 2,100 lots. Of those lots, almost 700 of them have connected," Cunningham said, then added that in the last year the county made water available to roughly 1,300 parcels and 344 of those have connected. "The big takeaway is there is we've done almost as much work in the last year as we were able to do in the previous six years."
