Committee members supported the project and asked administration to include the work in the long‑range plan for the 2025–26 budget presentation. Staff said they will integrate the proposals into next week’s long‑range plan presentation and explore performing work in‑house where feasible. The district also noted plans to install vape detectors in single‑use restrooms.
Board members discussed operational details for fob issuance, including parental notification, replacement procedures and whether fobs would be provided free for first loss.
