April 17, 2025 — The City of Boca Raton Planning and Zoning Board voted 5-0 Thursday evening to approve an amendment to the Boca Technology Center Development of Regional Impact (DRI) that removes approximately 6.6 acres at 680 Yamato Road from the DRI and updates master plan map H-1.
The amendment, presented by the city’s Development Services staff, restores the Bridal Station property at 680 Yamato Road to private entitlement processes after the parcel’s removal from the DRI. Peter Begovich of the Development Services Department told the board the change reduces the DRI’s total acreage from about 224.44 acres to about 217.84 acres and removes a planned intermodal node and associated 20,000 square feet of transit‑oriented retail from the DRI map.
