The Washington City Land Use Authority on April 16 approved an amended preliminary plat for the Lavender Canyon section of the Long Valley development that adds 104 townhome units to a previously approved 146-unit plan, producing a combined total of 250 townhome units across roughly 26.18 acres and an updated density of approximately 9.55 units per acre.
Staff noted the amended plan also adds 24 designated visitor parking stalls to the earlier approval, for a total of 66 visitor stalls. The applicant presented the revised layout and staff recommended approval subject to the findings and conditions listed in the staff report. No members of the public spoke in opposition during the hearing. The authority voted to approve the amended preliminary plat; commissioner Anderson made the motion and commissioner Schell seconded.
The approval allows the applicant to proceed to subsequent submittals and engineering review subject to the standard conditions and required infrastructure improvements in the staff report.
