"A paragraph was left out of the draft inadvertently because the paragraph did not show up in the electronic version of the statutes that our drafting attorney was using to draft the bill," the senator said, explaining the amendment simply inserts the missing paragraph and contains other technical edits.
The amendment was described as technical and non‑substantive; the Senate recorded concurrence by voice vote.
