Director Killough described the changes during a work session and second reading, explaining the setback structure the draft ordinance proposed: "a minimum setback would be provided of 50 feet for a 1 story building, 70 feet for a 2 story building, and 90 feet minimum for a 3 story building," language the council later modified to permit a maximum of two stories for nonresidential buildings adjacent to single-family zones.
