Supervisor Walton joined as a co-sponsor. The introduction clarifies the intention to maintain the existing worker benefits created by the 2020 ordinance while allowing covered employers additional options for structuring health-care related expenditures.
The ordinance was introduced; no vote was recorded on March 4. If advanced, the amendment would proceed through committee hearings and potential amendments before any final vote.
