Board approves multiple MOUs, ordinances and contracts; interim budget and other measures pass or advance

Labor and compensation measures
- Items 21–29: A set of ordinances adopting and implementing memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and amendments between the city and several unions were adopted, covering firefighters, municipal executives (fire and police), and Service Employees International Union units. - Item 35: The board approved a five-year professional services agreement (contract number 50337) through June 30, 2028, for approximately $215,000,000 with a joint venture to manage airport public and employee parking facilities; the resolution was adopted on the record.
- Item 36: The board approved settlement of an unlitigated claim by 1231 Market Street LP against the city for $19,500,000 concerning property damage to the Hotel Whitcomb during the COVID-19 pandemic; the resolution was adopted.
- Items 45–47: The board adopted retroactive resolutions authorizing the Department of Public Health to accept and expend various public-health grants, including a CDC award and syphilis-outbreak funding.
Budget and interim ordinances
- Items 48–49: The board approved the proposed interim budget and an interim annual salary ordinance (first reading). Roll-call votes recorded nine ayes and two no votes on those measures; the clerk announced the ordinances passed on first reading.
Appointments and commendations
- Item 40: The board approved an appointment to the Children and Families First Commission (term ending 10/08/2026).
Ceremonial and other items
Several proclamations, commendations and recognitions of community leaders and athletic teams were read and entered on the record but do not constitute legislative policy changes.
Ending
The meeting moved a large set of routine business through consent and roll-call votes.
